The Golden Horse leads...

The story evolved during the Lockdown. First the golden wings were made in bamboo bracts and the feathers were etched on it with a red hot iron scalpel. These were meant for a Tumba bird lamp. Since we did not have a big enough Tumba (dried gourd), the wings were cast in Brass. Then we made the flying horses in beaten iron. The leader horse has its turned head, the back and tail in Brass made using the lost wax technique of metal casting(Dhokra). Diyari, the iron craftsman insisted on making the warriors...
And so the final story was created!
